Katie's Self Portrait

The purpose of Katie getting her own blog was to show her work. Well, that's not happening, so, being the proud mother I am, here's another piece she just did. It's her self-portrait. I love it because it looks like a children's book illustration and it's happy.

    So talented!
    I'm definitely proud too.
    I remember when she told me that she couldn't draw like her brother.
    I love the details even to the shadows of the glasses on her face.It makes me think of a book I've read before especially when you said it looks like it could be in a children's book.
    My friend is amazing!!!
