I promised a blog entry about Jane Eyre and I failed on my promise. But can I give you some excuses?

Dear random blog reader,

Please excuse Jill from posting for the following reasons:

1. The end of the school year and all the varied and harried events.

2. Her Dad's 90th birthday party.

3. Her jjob change.

4. Her nephew moving in for a while.

5. Her house addition.

So, now that the excuses are over, let me share some stuff. First, the house addition. I'm doing this mainly for my Father-in-law and for Joel and Katie, who will most likely be using the addition.

This is the view of the room from the inside of the house. We're closing in an existing deck.

Three big windows to try to keep the view that I love.

This window in my kitchen will be knocked out and there will be an open doorway into a pantry. A pantry!
