After The Rain

Time to get out the wellies. Tromp around after the rain, listen and feel what is being said.

After the rain it is cooler. The pollen has been washed away out of the air and you can see clearly.

Dirt has been washed off of the leaves and flowers and you can see them as they really are.

Without the rain their would be no fruit.

This scarred, tattooed warrior has seen many rains.

Vegetable Garden 2013

A caterpillar, a tilled garden. Such potential.

Bamboo poles for bean teepees

An old pallet will be my new compost bin

Getting the cobwebs off of the tomato cages, ready for a new year.

It's Almost Been a Year...

since my last blog post. I was reading what I had written about all the changes in my life. And there were many since last year.

1. We finished the addition. I now have a beautiful pantry...

2. My nephew moved out but my son and daughter-in-law moved into their new room where the deck used to be.

3. I started my new job and I love it!

4. I turned 50!

5. I found out that I'm Scottish.

6. I took a pottery class and loved it! So, I now consider myself a potter, isn't that presumptious?

Steave tilled the garden. I planted some seeds. It's beginning. School is dominating my time and mind so the studio work is on hold at the moment, but summer is coming! Boo will be trippin' again soon! Maybe with a trailer, if Steave can find one.
